Vice President congratulated The Bahamas for taking charge of the Caribbean Community and showed assurance on fortifying the friendship between the United States and the countries and the citizens of the Caribbean. The Vice President brought attention to the U.S.-Caribbean Partnership’s initiative to tackle climate change by 2030 to respond to energy insecurity, climate change impacts, and other issues prevalent in the area.
