ANNVILLE, PA (July 29, 2022) – Anthony Howells, CEO of Paulhus & Associates, has been named to the National Small Business Association (NSBA) Leadership Council.
NSBA is the nation’s oldest nonpartisan small-business advocacy organization. The NSBA Leadership Council is a select group of small-business activists who engage with Congress, the administration, state and local government and the media.
Based in Annville, Pa., Paulhus & Associates provides consulting and training for the affordable housing industry nationwide to ensure compliance with Housing and Urban Development (HUD) regulations and guidelines.
A recognized leader in the small-business community for more than 15 years, Howells joins the NSBA Leadership Council alongside other small-business advocates from across the country to promote the interests of small business to policymakers in Washington, D.C.
“As a small-business owner, I see the importance of representing our interests and concerns to policy makers every day,” Howells said. “Joining NSBA’s Leadership Council will enable me to take our collective small-business message to the people that need to hear it most.”
The critical issues facing small business, Howells said, include tax reform, regulatory restraint, healthcare costs and access to capital.
The NSBA Leadership Council facilitates networking among small-business advocates from across the country and ensures small business a seat at the table as Congress and regulators take up key small-business proposals.
“I am proud to have Anthony Howells as part of our Leadership Council,” NSBA President and CEO Todd McCracken stated. “He came to us highly recommended, and I look forward to our coordinated efforts for years to come.”
