Lebanon, PA. “Thank you for all you do to help us remain free.” Bennett Buick/GMC of Lebanon, Bennett Honda of Lebanon and Bennett Toyota of Lebanon located on West Cumberland Street, Lebanon have planned lunch for Veterans on Saturday, July 30th from 11:00am to 2:00 PM. Food Trucks will be serving free lunch.
According to Chris Zerfass, Bennett Partner, General Manager and a Navy Veteran himself, many of the associates employed at Bennett are veterans. In fact, the spokesman for the event, Brian Lee, Honda General Manager, is an Army Veteran.
“Veterans are special to everyone at Bennett as many of our associates have served our country,” said Chris Zerfass, “Providing lunch and a gift may be a small act of thanks; we feel—I feel–it is important to honor their service. We just want to meet our veterans and say Thank you.”
The food trucks will be available free to veterans and are offering a variety of menus from toasted cheese sandwiches to tacos and more. In addition, each veteran will receive, while the supply lasts, a ball cap emblazoned with the emblem of the branch of the military in which they served.
The Bennett Automotive Group, with stores in Allentown, Wilkes Barre and Lebanon, employs over 400 employees in 12 locations including two collision centers.
“Since we came to Lebanon County, our client base has become our friends and neighbors and we are humbled by the support in the local community,” he added. “Many of our customers are veterans themselves.”
