Although they didn’t compete in a proper Verzuz, Drake and Kanye West have been taking shots at one another in preparation of their highly anticipated (and much delayed) album releases.
On Sunday, ‘Ye surprisingly dropped his 10th studio album Donda, which he had previewed on three separate occasions via his listening events in Atlanta and Chicago. While Drizzy didn’t physically pop up in different cities, billboards teasing the featured guests did in the days leading up to Certified Lover Boy dropping Sept. 3.
Lady Gaga also treated the Little Monsters to the Dawn of Chromatica remix album of her Billboard 200-topping sixth studio album Chromatica. With the new release, she invited plenty of A-list guests to her own planet, including Charli XCX, Rina Sawayama, Arca, Pabllo Vittar, Ashnikko, Shygirl, Dorian Electra, LSDXOXO, Bree Runway, A.G. Cook and more.
