Coldplay’s superstar collaborations have been out-of-this-world long before they topped the Billboard Hot 100 with the BTS-assisted “My Universe.” But which one still blows your mind?
The British rock troupe joined forces with East Coast hip-hop heavyweight Jay-Z on “Lost!” from their Prospekt’s March EP, which contained leftover tracks from the studio sessions behind the band’s 2008 album Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends.
Their following album, 2011’s Mylo Xyloto, contained their Rihanna collaboration “Princess of China,” which peaked at No. 20 on the Hot 100. And for Global Citizen’s first-ever EP from 2018, Coldplay recorded the song “E-Lo” under the pseudonym Los Unidades (meaning The Units in English) alongside Pharrell Williams and Jozzy, which broke into the top 10 of Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart.
And in addition to their BTS duet on their latest release, Music of the Spheres, they also keep the collaborative streak going with Selena Gomez (“Let Somebody Go”) and Jacob Collier and We Are King (“Human Heart”).
