The report from the “Washington Post” has accused George Santos, the former US Senator and current candidate for president in 2020, of misrepresenting his credentials.
George Santos responded to the report by claiming that he does not have any proof of his claims that he was a former US senator, but only a list of his accomplishments as a congressman. He also claimed that the Washington Post did not include all of his achievements in their list. The Washington Post has not published any proof or evidence to back up its claims.
The New York Times published an article on the “enemies” of Republican Congressman-elect Carlos Santos. The article was based on a quote from him and was published without his permission. . Santos told the New York Times that he was “just trying to be a good representative” and criticized his own party for working against him, not the Republican Party. The quote is from an article that was written by Roque Noriega, a reporter for El Centro de Noticias in Mexico City, who also reported on Santos’ victory. Instead of publishing pictures of Noriega’s office or any information about who wrote this piece, the New York Times published just a screen-grab of a Mexican website, without permission or attribution. You can see the original article here: CNN’s Hilary Roque was a good reporter who was targeted by the New York Times for not only criticizing Santos’ election but also for failing to share information about why she had written this story in the first place. While there may be reasonable reasons to question her motives and methods of reporting, she is an excellent reporter who deserves credit for covering Santos’ victory with fairness and a full understanding that this is an ongoing investigation. When Santos comes up with better and more reliable information, she should be rewarded for it, as she deserves to be.
Santos, 34, made history in November
In November, t done US senate voted to approve a bill that would allow all US citizens to buy and sell firearms without a background check. This was an unprecedented move in the history of the United States. . This was a massive, historic shift in American democracy. Since then, however, the gun lobby has managed to keep most foot soldiers on its side. The NRA claims all Americans should be able to own firearms, not just the right people. They say this is freedom; you should be able to do what you want with your body and property without the government interfering in your life or trying to stop you from doing anything. They have no problem with any country giving all its citizens the right to own and use firearms, but they are still furious at the US Senate voting to allow people in other countries to buy guns. They say America has become a culture of death that should not be imported into America. They have no problem with any country giving all its citizens the right to own and use firearms, but they are still furious at the US Senate voting to allow people in other countries to buy guns.
