Harrisburg, PA- Harrisburg Area Community College is hosting a ‘Free College Day” on March 30th where future students can attend online sessions from 9am to 6pm about the financial aid process, see how it is to be in a classroom and/or be part of a program, some participants may receive a $1,000 award which is sponsored by the HACC Foundation. Where the HACC Do I Start? We Know Where!: Future students can gain information on the admissions process, New Student Orientation (NSO) and advising to learn how to be successful at HACC.
Avoiding “Major” Confusion: Strategies for the Undecided Student: HACC’s Career Services team will teach future students about career services and provide the tools to assist students in choosing their pathway.
Peek into the Mysteries of the Mind in a Psychology Class in Lifespan Development: A psychology career may be a good match for future HACC students who are interested in human behavior and want to understand how the mind works. This session will give a glimpse of a psychology class at HACC.
Men of Color, Find YOUR Place at HACC: The mission and purpose of HACC’s Men of Color Initiative is to support and enhance the rich learning experiences at HACC for male-identifying students to counter historical equity gaps in post-secondary success. In this session, future students will learn about HACC’s Men of Color initiatives, and how the College supports and affirms male-identifying students of color as they navigate their academic journey.
