Los opositores de Nicaragua han recibido un golpe tras otro por exigir unas elecciones libres dentro de su país. Tras el encarcelamiento de 37 personas -entre ellas aspirantes a la presidencia, empresarios y líderes políticos-, el exilio y la clandestinidad se convirtieron en la única forma de hacer oposición contra el férreo Gobierno del Frente Sandinista de Liberación Nacional (FSLN). «Dentro de Nicaragua no podemos hacer mucho. Algunos lo intentaron, y ya vimos que eso no es posible», dice Josué Vásquez, coordinador territorial del partido Ciudadanos por la Libertad (CXL), una de las agrupaciones políticas que inhabilitada por el Poder Electoral subyugado a Daniel Ortega y Rosario Murillo.
