Making a Difference
May 5, 2022- Making A Difference Of Lebanon PA held it’s annual awards reception in recognition of it’s sponsors, volunteers, supporters and scholarship winners. The ceremony was held at American Legion Post 158 in Lebanon PA.
T-Mobile, Grade-A Haul Away, Henise Tire Service, Jonestown Bank and Trust and Patriot Home Care sponsored the event which featured guest speakers gold medalist Joshua Aguirre and Nicole Maurer Gray, Executive Director, Community Health Council of Lebanon County.
Cornell Wilson presented the Presidential Award to Jonestown Bank and Trust. “The Presidential Award goes to a person or organization who goes above and beyond the call of duty to assist us through sponsorships, donations, volunteering and support” Wilson said, “The winner of this award is chosen by our organization’s president”.
Keith Pemrick presented persons or organizations that make an impact in the organization through sponsorships, donations, volunteer efforts and general support with Impact awards. Winners of these awards were Grade-A Haul Away, Lebanon Federal Credit Union and Patriot Home Care. Impact award winners are chosen by Making A Difference Of Lebanon PA’s Board of Directors.
Francy Reigert and Mackenzie Unger presented Samantha Small, Camille Bucks and Braeten Peters with inaugural Making A Difference Of Lebanon PA Scholarships. The Scholarship committee chose the winners of these awards.
“Many people and organizations spend a lot of time through the year helping us with our events and programs and we appreciate all of them” Wilson said.
Volunteer stand outs this year and recipients of the Volunteer Awards were Louise Wilson and the Scholarship Committee.
