Maluma, Måneskin and Kim Petras are set to perform at the 2021 MTV Europe Music Awards on Nov. 14.
Maluma made waves Stateside for his electric performance of “Hawái” at the 2020 MTV VMAs, where he took the award for best Latin. This year, the Colombian singer is nominated at the EMA for best Latin and best Lat Am-central act.
After taking the top prize at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, Italian rock group Måneskin reached Billboard’s Global 200 Songs Chart with “Zitti e buoni.” The group’s current single, a cover of Frankie Valli & The Seasons’ 1967 hit “Beggin’,” is currently in the top 15 on the Billboard Hot 100. The group is nominated for best rock and best group.
Following the release of “Future Starts Now” and a performance of the single at the 2021 VMAs pre-show, German pop singer Petras is taking the EMA stage for the first time.
MTV announced its first round of performers for the upcoming EMA on Wednesday (Oct. 27) and is expected to soon reveal the show’s host, presenters and more performers.
Justin Bieber leads with eight nominations, while Doja Cat and Lil Nas X each have six.
Broadcasting live from Papp László Budapest Sportaréna in Hungary, the 2021 MTV EMA are slated to air on Nov. 14 at 3 p.m. ET across MTV’s channels.
