Nick Cannon isn’t ready to stop having kids. The Masked Singer host, who already has seven children, says he’s open to the idea of expanding his brood.
TMZ caught up with the host recently and asked what his secret is to having so many children. Cannon replied, “It’s love. It’s the aura. It’s the essence.”
The publication also asked Cannon — whose had two songs on the Billboard Hot 100 — whether he’s interesting in having more children. “God willing,” Cannon responded. “If God sees it that way, then that’s what I’m going to keep doing.”
Cannon is already a father to seven children. The performer had his first two children — twins Monroe and Moroccan — with ex-wife Mariah Carey in 2011. He also shares 3-year-old son Golden “Sagon” and welcomed daughter Powerful Queen with Brittany Bell in December. Abby de la Rosa gave birth to his twin boys Zion and Zillion on June 17. The singer-actor then welcomed his youngest child, son Zen, on June 23 with Alyssa Scott.
In July, Cannon revealed that every child he’s had was a planned effort. “I’m having these kids on purpose,” he said during an episode of his Power 106 radio show. “I didn’t have no accident.”
Cannon later contradicted himself in an August interview with Charlamagne Tha God. The performer explained that he doesn’t “subscribe” to the idea of monogamy, and claimed that the decision was left up to the women who were involved with him. “Those women, all women, are the ones that open themselves up and say, ‘I would like to allow this man in my world. And I will birth this child,’” Cannon explained. “It ain’t my decision. I’m following suit.”
“I’m not going around like, ‘Who am I gonna impregnate next?’” Cannon added. “Nah. It’s usually scenarios. When you look at a family structure, the woman is always the one who leads and makes decisions.”
