Philadelphia, PA – The Pennsylvania State Police Troop M and Troop K Criminal Investigation Units announce the arrest of Andrew D. Jennings, 20 Years of Age, from Philadelphia, PA, in the murder of Lisa Shuine Jennings.
On Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 10:31 AM, Troopers from PSP Troop M Trevose station responded to the report of an unresponsive person in Neshaminy State Park, Bensalem Township, Bucks County. Upon arrival, Troopers observed a deceased female with multiple stab wounds around her neck. The victim displayed a tattoo on her right arm with the name “Lisa”, which images were released to the public, in an attempt to identify the deceased. As a result, family members came forward and positively identified the victim as Lisa Shuine Jennings.
On Monday, January 10, 2022, a Forensic Pathologist conducted an autopsy and concluded Lisa Jennings died as a result of multiple stab wounds to the neck and head area with the manner of death determined to be homicide.
On January 10, 2022, members of the Pennsylvania State Police executed a search warrant at 2129 East Cambria Street, Philadelphia, which provided investigators evidence that the homicide appeared to have occurred within the residence.
Through the investigation, further search warrants were obtained and served, which revealed Andrew D. Jennings, traveled in the early morning hours of Saturday, January 8, 2022 from Cambria Street to Neshaminy State Park.
Andrew Jennings was arrested on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 by Troopers of the Troop M and Troop K Criminal Investigation Units for a probation violation and incarcerated at Bucks County Prison. On January 20, 2022 a criminal complaint was submitted to the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office for approval and Andrew Jennings has been charged with the following:
Through this investigation, it was determined Andrew Jennings acted alone in this crime and no one else is being sought.
