There are several community events celebrating El Día de los Muertos, or the Day of the Dead, in Philadelphia this year. The holiday is celebrated between Nov. 1 and 2 in Mexico as a way to honor dead ancestors and loved ones. Philly’s festivities include a bike ride, parade and altar at LOVE Park.
