LEBANON, Pa. – Visit Lebanon Valley, has commenced a third county-wide Java Journey. The Java
Journey is a self-guided trail that features 11 locally-owned coffee shops. The Journey will take place from
Monday, January 17, 2022 until Saturday, February 26, 2022.
The rules of the Java Journey are similar to last year. To participate, a customer can purchase a mug and
passport for $10.00 from any of the participating businesses; Timeless Cafe, The Important Thing Cafe,
Whirling Dervish Bakery, Ancestor Coffeehouse & Creperie, 3J’s Coffee, The Porch and Pantry, Baked
Sweet, Sydney Coffee Roasters, and Swatara Coffee Company. Then it’s time to make their way to the 11
shops where they will have the opportunity to purchase a secret menu item that is only made available to
those on the trail.
After making a purchase at each location, the participant will receive a stamp from the corresponding
business on their passport. Once completed, the participant will drop off their passport to any of the
participating businesses, where they will be entered into a drawing to win a gift basket consisting of items
from each business, and an overnight getaway to the historic 1825 Inn Bed & Breakfast of Palmyra – a
basket valued at over $375.00.
Jennifer Kuzo, President of Visit Lebanon Valley states, “Last year’s Java Journey was such a success.
There were many people on the journey who had discovered new local shops and enjoyed
trying all of the different drinks.” Kuzo has been working with these local businesses to make the Java
Journey even better this year. “This year, we have included new coffee shops, new mugs, and an even
better experience.”
Due to Covid-19, it is important for all of the Java Journey participants to follow health and safety
guidelines while visiting these local coffee shops. Also, before visiting the participating businesses, it is
important for everyone to check their website for updated hours and information.
