On May 15, 2021, at approximately 11:23 AM, WRPD Officers were dispatched to investigate multiple reports of thefts from a parked, motor vehicles. The vehicles were parked in the 100 block of Tulpehocken Avenue. Again, on May 15, 2021, at approximately 4:00 PM, a WRPD Officer was dispatched to investigate another report of a theft from a parked, motor vehicle. The vehicle was parked in the 500 block of Barnhardt Way. The Officers responded, gathered information, and conducted an initial investigation for all reported thefts. The Officers turned the investigations over to the WRPD Criminal Investigations Division (CID) and they conducted a lengthy investigation. The CID developed suspects of the thefts and later identified one suspect as Gabriel Eliseo LLANOS, who later admitted to the thefts. The value of the stolen items was found to be over $1000. The listed charges have been filed against LLANOS before the District Justice.
