National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan spoke by telephone today with Brazilian Presidential Advisor Celso Amorim to follow up on last week’s call between President Biden and President Lula. The two discussed ongoing progress in efforts to deepen bilateral and regional cooperation, protect workers’ rights, and promote inclusive prosperity for our two countries. National Security Advisor Sullivan underscored the importance of continuing to build upon joint efforts to expand Atlantic cooperation. They agreed to meet in person on the margins of the United Nations General Assembly.
