On December 13, Jake Sullivan, Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs, had a meeting with Ismail Omar Guelleh, President of Djibouti, at the U.S.-Africa Leaders Summit in Washington D.C. Sullivan praised the U.S.’s strategic partnership with Djibouti and thanked Guelleh for the mutual dedication to security. Furthermore, Sullivan and Guelleh talked about Djibouti’s ambitions to broaden the business connections with American firms and organizations.
