Rihanna is once again hosting a Met Gala after party. And if you’re not there, reckons RiRi, you’re nowhere.
The “Umbrella” star and Fenty Beauty founder shared the poster to her special event, which kicks off Sept. 13 at 11pm.
“If you planning a Met Ball after party…don’t,” reads the post on her Instagram account.
If that piques your interest, the words “private event” just might dampen your mood.
If music made her a star, Fenty made Rihanna rich and turned her into a queen of the beautify and fashion world. According to Forbes, the Barbados born singer and entrepreneur is now a billionaire, with the cosmetics company she launched in 2017 lifting her bank balance into the top tier.
Currently, Rihanna is worth $1.7 billion, Forbes estimates, making her the wealthiest female musician in the world and second only to Oprah Winfrey as the richest female entertainer.
The Met gala is the fashion world’s equivalent of the Oscars, a place where celebrities from fashion, music and movies collide on the red carpet. RiRi’s VIP after party is always a red-hot ticket, a space stacked with glitz, glamor and ridiculous outfits.
In a typical year, the party would be held in May, but this year’s extravaganza was pushed back due to the pandemic.
