Nationwide, health insurance participation in the Affordable Care Act’s individual market is growing and increased competition is helping drive down consumer premiums. In Pennsylvania, UPMC Health Plan is one of eight health insurance providers offering affordable coverage options to more than 400,000 enrollees in 2022. Through the COVID-19 Special Enrollment Period that ran from February 2021 to August 2021 and thanks to temporary premium subsidies provided through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), the Commonwealth has enrolled more Pennsylvanians in affordable coverage than ever before.

We talked about a litany of topics but the one that resounded with me was how we both grew up with the lack of any learning personal finance. It wasn’t taught in school and our parents both used the same line of thought. “Save your money” and “If you want to do stuff or have things, you’ll have to get a job.”
Lebanon Family Health Services and Q Hubo News partner through Celebrating Teen Health informational event
Lebanon, PA- On April 27th from 2pm-4pm Lebanon Family Health Services hosted their regular informational session for community members who came into their location to get assistance. Members of the community came in and were provided with information about the different services LFHS provides to teens. Q Hubo News was part of the informational event through a month-long promotion and documenting the resources provided by LFHS the day of the event.
