The Woman, Infants, and Children (WIC) Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) and Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) are programs that provide fresh, nutritious, unprepared, locally grown fruits, vegetables, and herbs from Pennsylvania farmers’ markets to WIC participants and eligible seniors. These programs were established in 1993, and since then, have been geared toward expanding their awareness and use of markets. This exciting initiative happens every year between June 1 through November 30.
