In 2017, I had the pleasure of being an intern for PoliticsPA while attending Temple University. In July 2018, I was ecstatic to be named Managing Editor of the website.
I’ve enjoyed being at the helm of PoliticsPA for the past 3 years, but now, it’s time for me to make my next move in my career.
In a few weeks, I will begin my new job with PCN as an Assistant Producer. September 17 will be my last day as Managing Editor of PoliticsPA.
It’s safe to say Pennsylvania was at the center of the political universe over the past few years and I’m truly thankful to have had the opportunity to cover so many interesting races in the state.
There are so many people that have helped me along the way, but I will just specifically name a few who have been a tremendous help.
I want to thank Keegan Gibson for helping me get acclimated to the role in 2018 and providing me with help every step of the way.
Thank you Paul Engelkemier for thinking of me when you were getting ready to move on from the position in 2018 and recommending that I pursue this great opportunity.
I also want to thank PoliticsPA’s owners Larry Ceisler, Jeff Jubelirer, and David Urban who gave me the opportunity to run the website during such a fascinating time in Pennsylvania politics.
And, of course, I have to thank the readers of PoliticsPA. I genuinely enjoyed the feedback, good or bad, on any story I wrote.
Finally, PoliticsPA is looking to hire for the Managing Editor position. If you are interested and have a passion for Pennsylvania politics, I encourage you to apply.
I look forward to watching PoliticsPA continue to grow and can’t wait to see what the future holds for this website.
