Congratulations are in order for Usher and his girlfriend Jenn Goicoechea, who recently welcomed their second child together, a baby boy named Sire Castrello Raymond.
On Tuesday (Oct. 12), the R&B hitmaker revealed on Instagram that Goicoechea — with whom he already shares 1-year-old daughter Sovereign Bo — gave birth to their newborn on Sept. 29. He shared a black-and-white close-up photo of Sire’s precious nose and mouth.
“Hi my name is Sire Castrello Raymond … I am the newest addition to the Raymond crew,” the caption read. “I was born Sept 29 2021 at 6:42pm weighting 7lbs 13oz. Hear me roar … A.K.A Ra Ra. [Libra] Gang.”
Snoop Dogg praised the birth of “my nefew,” while Jermaine Dupri, Lil Jon and more of his collaborators congratulated Usher in the comments section.
Goicoechea gave birth to her and Usher’s first child, Soveriegn Bo, on Sept. 24, 2020 — almost exactly a year apart from their son Sire. The Libra gang within the Raymond crew is strong, led by papa Usher himself, whose birthday is on Thursday. Usher has two sons with ex-wife Tameka Foster: 13-year-old Usher V and 12-year-old Naviyd Ely.
In July, the “Yeah!” singer appeared on Good Morning America and expressed his excitement about welcoming the newest member of the Raymond family. “I’m definitely enjoying this little baby bloom of ours,” he said. “This new addition to the family has just been exciting.” Though Usher is currently busy with being a father, he will continue his Las Vegas residency starting in December.
